Megan Lavin, DPT, M.Ed.
Founder & Executive Director

Megan Lavin is a woman of God, dedicated to serving those with eating disorders. She founded Live RecoverED in 2021 as RecoverED Athletes. She's passionate about helping others seek freedom from eating disorders because she struggled with and is recovered from anorexia and orthorexia. In addition to her role at Live RecoverED, Megan is also an ED-informed physical therapist and movement coach through Reclaimed Movement Physical Therapy & Wellness. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Jacob.

Kenna McEvoy
Secretary​​​​​​​​​
Kenna is passionate about supporting, mentoring, and encouraging others. She has personal and professional experience as an advocate for those with medical and mental health challenges, including eating disorders. Kenna believes that every person’s story is unique, matters, and deserves to be heard.

Holding a college degree with graduate-level coursework in behavior change has given Kenna a firm grasp of mental health, eating disorder recovery, chronic illness, and rare conditions. Her numerous volunteer, internship, and professional experiences position her well to serve others in the context of a nurturing environment. She holds a hopeful, compassionate, and strengths-based outlook towards everyone in recovery and is dedicated to ensuring that no one feels alone on their recovery journey. In her free time, Kenna enjoys hiking, spending time with family, volunteering, catching up with friends, and advocating for patients.

Michelle O'Neil, LPC, RN
Board Member

Michelle is a nurse, counselor, author, mother, and proud advocate for mental health support for all. She received her bachelor of science in nursing in 2012 and master of arts in clinical mental health counseling in 2021 and enjoys using her skills to support families and individuals through work as a professional counselor and home care nurse for her adopted daughter with special needs.
Having walked through her own journey of struggles and healing, she is dedicated to now supporting others in their journeys. Her strong faith in Jesus Christ has provided hope and strength since childhood, and she loves sharing this testimony to encourage others. Michelle has also self-published two mental health focused children's books and is working next on a memoir of her recovery journey. She has a passion for shining hope to others through the various platforms God has given her and is honored to join Live RecoverED as a volunteer and board member.
Some of her hobbies include hiking with her husband, daughter and dog, crocheting, and gardening.
